Position: Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated business development professional to call on semi-pro and pro sports stadiums/arenas, colleges and universities nationwide and influence the sales growth of sports protective padding from our offices in Cerritos, CA.

 

Sports Venue Padding is a leading manufacturer of sports protective padding for stadiums, arenas, schools, fields, parks, and municipalities. Our services include, outfield wall padding, indoor gymnasium padding, landing floor mats, banners, tarps, seat covers, and digitally printed sponsorship advertising/team logos on vinyl and vinyl wrapped foam padding. Our core competency is in the development of padded solutions for difficult to cover areas.

 

Position Requirements:

 

• Call on minor league baseball and college stadium operations managers and general managers to sell graphically printed vinyl and sports protective padding for walls, rails, posts, floors, etc., in addition to custom padding solutions for difficult to cover areas of any activity.

• Previous experience in a sports related industry, or similar.

• Go-getter to cultivate executives who make decisions about stadium construction and maintenance. Identify new opportunities and develop market strategies.

• Present padding products to clients, follow-up on leads, and track/report sales activity.

• Develop networking connections and strong long-term business relationships to retain, maintain, and expand existing customer base.

• Must have strong math skills for estimates, calculations, measurements, and quotes.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills for proposals, emails, and letters.

• Interpersonal skills to promote SVP services at conferences and sales presentations. Limited nationwide travel required.

• Strong organizational skills and computer experience. Prior use of Salesforce.com is helpful.
